Casbak Alpine Units has 3 glorious acres situated on the banks of the Ovens River in the heart of Harrietville in Victoria's Alpine region.
We offer 8 x 2 bed or 4 x 1 bed units as well as a 16 bed Blackwood Lodge for larger families or groups. All accomodation is self-catering and we provide all fresh linen, cooking and eating utensils. Also on the property is a large Swimming pool and Sauna as well as a games room and gas barbeque area on the banks of the Ovens at the rear of the property. If fishing is your caper then we have some of the best fishing spots within an easy walk from Casbak or if you want to challenge yourself then go for a hike to Mt Feathertop and back. Cycling is well catered for at Casbak and the environs wether it is road or MTB there is a challenge for any rider of any fitness who can have heaps of fun. The Winter time brings snow to the area and Casbak provides the perfect base for Skiers to stay off mountain on a budget wether they ski at Mt Hotham or Falls Creek they will not be dissappointed with the high standard that we at Casbak provide.
